1. Who we are

"We" in this document means the fictional Moonpick & Marrow gift shop represented by this website. There is no registered company behind it, and the postal location mentioned elsewhere on the site (Asheville, NC) is only a shipping-region label used in sample copy.

Questions about this policy can go to moonpick.marrow.gifts@gmail.com. That address is a sample address formatted for the demo; we cannot confirm that it exists or that anyone reads it.

2. What this site collects

The site is a set of static files. It does not have a database, an account system, a newsletter, a payment form, or a server-side handler for the contact form.

• Contact form fields. Your name, email, optional phone number, topic, and message are read by JavaScript running in your own browser so the form can check them. They are not transmitted anywhere by the site itself.
• No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no pixel, no session-recording tool, and no third-party script on any page.
• No accounts or payments. The site never asks for a password, a card number, or a shipping address.
• Server logs. Whoever hosts these files — your own computer, a friend's server, or a hosting provider — may keep standard access logs. That is outside the control of the site and is governed by the host's own policy.

3. Storage in your browser

One thing does persist: the "Your box" list. When you add gift sets to your box, the site saves a small list of product identifiers in your browser's localStorage under the key mm-box-v1.

• It stays on your device. It is never uploaded.
• It contains product slugs only — no names, emails, or anything identifying you.
• It is not a cart and does not reserve or order anything.
• You can clear it by removing every item from the box, or by clearing site data in your browser settings.

4. Cookies & tracking

This site sets no cookies. There are no advertising identifiers, no cross-site trackers, and no fingerprinting scripts. Nothing here follows you to another website.

5. Third parties

All pages load only from the same folder as the site itself: no CDN, no web fonts, no embedded video, no social media widgets, and no map embeds. Because of that, reading this site shares nothing with a third party except what your hosting setup records.

Links to outside websites — social profiles, for example — are marked as such. Once you follow one, that site's privacy policy applies instead of this one.

6. Your choices

Because this demo holds no personal data on a server, there is nothing to request, correct, or delete on our side. In practical terms:

• Use the form without sending anything, if you only want to test it.
• Keep or clear the box list at any time in your browser settings.
• Browse with JavaScript disabled; the catalog will not render, but the legal pages and all text remain readable.

If you are evaluating how a real shop should handle this — including access and deletion rights under state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA — note that a real version of this site would need a written policy reviewed for its actual data practices. This page is a placeholder in that respect.

7. Children

Some gift sets are designed for children, but this site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. There is no sign-up, no comment section, and no messaging feature that a child could use to send us data.

8. Changes & contact

If the demo is updated, this page will be revised with a new effective date. Since there are no subscribers or accounts, changes are not announced by email.
